Terms of Service
The agreement between you and ATHLI — what we owe you, what you agree to, how payments and cancellations work, and the honest limits of what coaching can promise. Written to be read, not to be survived.
Pending legal review. The entity details, the cancellation, refund, no-show, freeze and pricing-change rules in sections 6 to 8, and the liability wording in section 12 are all the client’s confirmed policy text. They still need a lawyer’s review before launch, and the “last updated” date below is set on the day these go live.
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of the ATHLI website, the ATHLI app, and every service we provide — coaching, programmes, ATHLI Club and corporate partnerships. They form an agreement between you and Elevate Lifestyle FZC, trade licence number 55032, of C1 Building, Ajman Free Zone, United Arab Emirates.
By booking a consultation, buying a plan, or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree with something in them, tell us before you buy rather than after.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data and forms part of this agreement.
2. Who can use ATHLI
- You must be 18 or over to buy a plan in your own name. We coach younger clients where a parent or guardian consents and signs up on their behalf.
- You must give us accurate information, particularly about your health. We build your programme on what you tell us, so leaving something out puts you at risk, not us.
- Your account is personal to you. Don’t share your login, and don’t let someone else train on your programme in your place.
3. Health & safety — please read this properly
ATHLI provides coaching, not medical care. Our coaches are qualified fitness professionals. They are not doctors, physiotherapists or dietitians, and nothing we provide — programmes, nutrition guidance, recovery advice or anything said in a session — is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
- Consult a doctor before starting if you have any medical condition, are pregnant or recently postpartum, are recovering from injury or surgery, take medication that affects exercise, or simply haven’t trained in a long time and aren’t sure.
- Tell us everything relevant — injuries, conditions, medication, symptoms — at the consultation and whenever anything changes. It shapes what we programme, and it’s the single most useful thing you can give us.
- Stop and seek medical attention if you feel chest pain, dizziness, faintness, shortness of breath beyond normal exertion, or pain that isn’t ordinary training discomfort. Don’t push through it to finish the set.
- Exercise carries inherent risk. Physical training involves a risk of injury that cannot be eliminated, however well a session is coached. By training with ATHLI you accept that risk voluntarily.
- You are responsible for your own environment. For in-person and online sessions at your home or gym, you’re responsible for ensuring the space is safe and suitable to train in.
Nutrition guidance in the app is general and educational. If you need clinical nutrition support for a medical condition, we’ll tell you so and point you to someone qualified to give it.
4. Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to it. Keep your contact details current so session and billing communications actually reach you.
5. What we provide
What’s included depends on the plan you buy:
- Elite — in-person 1:1 coaching, in blocks of 10, 15 or 20 sessions.
- Remote — live online 1:1 coaching, in blocks of 10, 15 or 20 sessions.
- Blueprint — a guided programme over 4, 8 or 12 weeks, with one live coaching session per four-week cycle and one coach check-in per four-week cycle.
- Flex — a self-guided programme over 4, 8 or 12 weeks, with one coach check-in per four-week cycle.
- ATHLI Club — an ongoing monthly or annual membership giving access to Clubs, Quests, challenges, the community and the app. Club does not include a dedicated 1:1 coach.
- Corporate — programmes agreed separately with your organisation under their own written agreement.
We may change or improve programme content, Club line-ups and app features over time. Clubs and Quests currently listed are subject to change based on member demand and priorities. Where a change materially reduces what you’ve paid for, we’ll tell you and put it right.
We can’t promise specific results. Coaching outcomes depend on consistency, sleep, nutrition, stress, genetics and life. Anyone guaranteeing you a specific weight, body or timeline is selling you something; we’re not going to.
6. Payment & renewal
- Session packages and programmes are paid in full before they begin, unless we’ve agreed otherwise in writing. Full payment is required — we do not take deposits.
- Blueprint and Flex are billed on the cadence you choose (every 4, 8 or 12 weeks) and renew automatically on that cadence until you cancel. The programme length is your payment cadence, not a fixed end date.
- ATHLI Club is billed monthly or annually in advance and renews automatically until you cancel.
- All prices are in UAE Dirhams (AED) and include VAT where applicable.
- We may change our prices. Existing clients and members get at least three months’ notice before any increase takes effect, and it never applies mid-programme or to a package you have already paid for. Section 7 sets out how this works for subscriptions and for Elite and Remote packages.
- If a payment fails, we’ll ask you to update it. Persistent non-payment may suspend access until it’s resolved.
7. Cancellation, refunds & freezes
Memberships & subscriptions
Recurring memberships and subscriptions may be cancelled at any time before the next billing date. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund payments already made. Your access continues until the end of the current paid billing period.
Coaching sessions & packages
Booked coaching sessions must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 12 hours before the scheduled session. Sessions cancelled with less than 12 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, are considered used and are deducted from your package.
You are responsible for booking and completing your sessions within the applicable package validity period. Unused or expired sessions are non-refundable.
Refunds
All ATHLI Movement purchases are non-refundable once purchased, except where ATHLI Movement is no longer able to provide the purchased service.
A refund may only be considered where circumstances on ATHLI Movement’s side make it impossible for us to deliver the remaining service or access purchased. Where applicable, any refund will be limited to the undelivered portion of the service.
Refunds will not be provided due to a change of mind, personal circumstances, client availability or scheduling preferences, failure to attend or use sessions, failure to access or use the platform, or a decision to discontinue participation. For digital programmes, memberships and subscriptions, non-use of the service or platform does not constitute grounds for a refund.
Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
Package freeze
Package freezes may be granted under valid circumstances and are subject to approval by ATHLI Movement. Every client is entitled to one free freeze per programme or session package. Each additional freeze carries a fee of AED 100 per month frozen.
All freeze requests must be for a minimum of one month. During the freeze the package is paused and its expiry date adjusted by the approved freeze period.
Freezes apply to Elite and Remote session packages. Blueprint and Flex cannot be frozen, because the programme runs live each week for the length you have purchased.
Package freezes are intended for exceptional circumstances and cannot be used to extend a package because of unused sessions, scheduling preferences or general availability.
After a package ends, your Trainerize account stays open for a two-week grace period. We will notify you the day after your package duration ends about access and renewal. If the package is not renewed within that grace period, the account and its access are removed.
Pricing changes
ATHLI Movement may update its prices from time to time. Existing clients and members will be given at least three months’ notice before any price increase takes effect.
For recurring memberships and subscriptions, the updated price applies from the first applicable renewal following the effective date of the change. You may cancel before the new price takes effect if you do not wish to continue at the updated rate.
For Elite and Remote session packages, existing clients may purchase up to two additional packages at the current price during the three-month notice period. Where packages are purchased in advance, their validity periods begin sequentially: the first prepaid package becomes active once you have completed your current package, and the second becomes active once the preceding package has been completed.
Promotional, introductory or specially agreed pricing remains subject to the specific terms and duration of the applicable offer.
Product changes following consultation
If, following an initial consultation or assessment, ATHLI Movement determines that a different service or training format would suit you better, payments already made remain non-refundable but may be transferred to another ATHLI Movement product.
For the purpose of transferring purchased services, the following conversion applies:
- 1 Elite session = 2 Remote sessions = 1 week of Blueprint
Any product change is based on ATHLI Movement’s recommendation following the consultation, and is intended to place you in the service most appropriate for your needs. A product transfer does not entitle you to a cash refund for any difference in the standard retail value of the products or services.
8. Sessions, scheduling & no-shows
- Rescheduling — give us at least 12 hours’ notice and we’ll move the session at no cost.
- Late cancellation — cancelling inside the 12-hour window counts the session as used, and it is deducted from your package.
- No-shows — if you don’t attend and haven’t told us, the session is counted as used. Coaches hold the time for you and travel to it.
- Lateness — sessions run to their scheduled end time. If you arrive late, we’ll make the most of what’s left rather than shorten someone else’s session.
- Package validity — you are responsible for booking and completing your sessions within your package’s validity period, which is visible in the app. Unused or expired sessions are non-refundable.
- If we cancel or run late, your session isn’t deducted and we’ll reschedule at your convenience.
9. Community conduct
ATHLI Club and our corporate communities are shared spaces. Movement for Every Body is not a slogan we’re prepared to have undermined in our own community. So, in the app and in any ATHLI group:
- No harassment, abuse, discrimination or body-shaming — of anyone, at any level, in any direction.
- No unsolicited promotion, spam or recruitment.
- No sharing of another member’s photos, messages or personal information.
- No medical advice presented as fact, and no encouraging behaviour that puts other members at risk.
We’ll remove content and, where necessary, remove members who breach this. We won’t apologise for it.
10. Intellectual property
ATHLI programmes, content, videos, branding and materials belong to us or our licensors. Your plan gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own training. Please don’t copy, resell, republish or distribute our programming, or use it to coach other people commercially.
Anything you post to the community stays yours. By posting it, you give us permission to display it within the ATHLI community. We will never use your progress photos or personal content in marketing without your separate, explicit written consent.
11. Third-party services
The ATHLI app runs on ABC Trainerize, and wearable integrations depend on the device and platform you connect. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and their availability is not something we control. If a third-party outage disrupts your access, we’ll do what we reasonably can to make it right.
12. Liability & assumption of risk
To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law:
- You acknowledge that exercise and physical activity involve inherent risks, including the risk of injury, and you accept the risks ordinarily associated with participating in fitness activities.
- You are responsible for ensuring you are fit to participate, and for informing ATHLI of any relevant injury, medical condition, physical limitation or change that may affect your ability to exercise safely. Where appropriate, you should seek medical advice before participating.
- ATHLI does not own or operate the homes, gyms or other locations where training may take place. You are responsible for ensuring that the training environment, space and equipment you choose to use are safe and appropriate, to the extent these are within your control.
- You are responsible for stopping exercise, and informing your coach where applicable, if you experience pain, dizziness, unusual discomfort or other symptoms that may make it unsafe to continue.
- ATHLI is not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from your participation in exercise, except where it results from our negligence or failure to meet our legal or contractual obligations to you.
- ATHLI is not liable for injury or loss resulting from information you did not disclose, failure to follow reasonable coaching instructions, improper use of equipment, or unsafe circumstances outside ATHLI’s control.
- ATHLI is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of earnings, to the extent permitted by law.
- Where liability may lawfully be limited but not excluded, ATHLI’s liability will be limited to the amount paid for the service giving rise to the claim.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable UAE law.
13. Suspension & termination
You can stop using ATHLI at any time, subject to section 7. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, behave abusively toward staff or members, or don’t pay. Where we end your access without cause, we’ll refund the unused portion of anything you’ve paid.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of [EMIRATE — to be confirmed with your legal adviser] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. Before it gets that far, please talk to us — almost everything is resolvable with a conversation.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top will change, and where an update materially affects your rights we’ll notify you directly. Continuing to use ATHLI after a change means you accept the updated terms.
16. Contact us
Questions about these terms, a cancellation, a refund or anything else: hello@athlimovement.com, or WhatsApp +971 54 290 2101.
Ask before you buy, not after.
If a clause here reads badly or you want something confirmed in writing, just ask. We'd rather rewrite it than have you agree to something you don't like.
